People have wondered about heaven for as long as they have wondered about anything. The Bible doesn't answer every question, but what it does say is beautiful: a home prepared by Jesus, a place with no more tears or pain, and a new heaven and earth where God lives with his people. These verses are often read at funerals, and they offer real comfort there. They are also an invitation to live today with a hope that looks beyond it.

John 14:2
