Bible Verses About Protection

When someone we love is traveling, deployed, sick, or simply out in the world, it's natural to pray for their safety. The Bible describes God as a refuge, a shield, a fortress, and a shelter under his wings. Many of these verses come from Psalms written during real danger. They don't promise a life without trouble, but they do promise that we are watched over. Pray them for yourself, or put a loved one's name in them.

1. Psalm 91:1

   He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2. Psalm 91:2
